The first event was the project launch meeting, after which the "eco-treasure" immediately took action. When they get home, they start to sort their waste: kitchen waste, recyclable waste, hazardous waste and other waste, and put different waste in different bins. After a week of action, the "eco-treasure" held a sharing meeting, at which everyone exchanged their experience and feelings of garbage classification.

The second activity was to conduct field research in a garbage station near the school. Through this survey, "environmental protection treasure" more familiar with the types of waste, also have a new understanding of how to effectively carry out garbage classification, why to advocate the reduction of household waste has a deeper understanding.

On Tuesday, the environmental group held its third activity -- learning to make enzymes. Through this activity, the "eco-treasure" learned what enzyme is, the function of enzyme and how to make it. They also take leftover fruit peels and vegetables to school, and use the waste to create their own environmentally friendly enzymes.

In addition to these activities, "eco-treasures" also collect their empty bottles at school or at home and sell them to recycling stations. The proceeds will be donated to charity organizations.

Since 2019, cities at or above the prefectural level have started sorting garbage. Garbage classification is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of urban citizens and an important part of the construction of urban civilization. Schools play a vital role in the cultivation and guidance of environmental awareness.
